However interested in this title. From the little video previews I have seen am I to assume the game play is like gauntlet but on crack more or less? That's the impression I was left with seeing some video of ds 1 and 2.

"I cannot profess to be a theologian; but it seems to me that Christians who believe in a super human Satan have got themselves into a logical impasse with regard to their own religion. For either God can not prevent the mischief of Satan, in which case he is not omnipotent; or else He could do so if he wished, but will not, in which case He is not benevolent. Fortunately, being a pagan witch, I am not called upon to solve this problem."

Hmmm... It really isn't anything like gauntlet... It's more like Diablo, only you get to control more than 1 character at a time (although Dungeon Siege 1 and 2 are a bit more tactical than Diablo). The games both are a bit dated, but if that doesn't bother you, you should give either one a shot. =) I'm sure people would give you their advice on which one is better, but I like both equally for different reasons to be honest. From what I understand, though, neither 1 or 2 will be like the third one Obsidian is working on. 3 looks more like your traditional console action RPG (like Sacred 2, or Baldur's gate). Hope that helps. =)
