I recently got a new computer that has Windows 7 and, it being my first computer (that is completely and totally mine, not the family computer) actually capable of running video games, I decided to finally catch up on all the awesome computer games that I have been missing out on through the years. KOTOR 2 is, obviously, one of these games. However, whenever I try to download a patch, it won't let me. Well, okay, I can download it, but it won't apply to the game. The download screen will pop but before it does anything, another box pops up that says "Old file not found. However, a file of the same name was found. No update done since file contents to not match." I'm not very computer literate (comes with being a history major, I suppose), but I really want/need the patches. Help me, forum community, you're my only hope! :)

If you have a non-US version first apply 1.0A, THEN 1.0B.

With US go straight to 1.0B (the US version too obviously).

Are you doing that?

Ah ha! Remember the part where I said I wasn't computer literate? I live in the US and had ordered the game over the internet from Amazon. Turns out that I got the UK version. Phew, thanks so much for your help! :)
