Switching the camera...

Hi there,

 

since buying Alpha Protocol a few days ago I have collected some great first impressions.

However there are some serious bugs that are giving me a hard time.

 

a) I have some serious problems with the camera. I can switch the perspective via the V key. But after a few moments

(f.e. walking towards a wall, using ladders, cut scenes) the camera switches back again immediately. This is very very disorientating and makes the game even unplayable at some points. (I have to use the second perspective because my system is too low for the first one and its constant camera movement...)

 

--> Is there a way to preset/lock the game to the alternative camera position?

 

b) I`ve also noticed the awkward savegame system via waypoints.

 

--> Is there any sense in being able to save manually? Every time I save the game and try loading it the game doesn`t start an this exact point but at some waypoint. AM I missing something here?

Whoa, I didn't even know we had two different perspectives, or forgot it, at least. Anyone?

 

When you save manually you are saving the last checkpoint you passed. So effectively, the only reason to use it is to create backups... which is a good idea, as otherwise you only have 2 autosaves.
