Hi, guys. I just bought the game at Wal-Mart, installed it just fine, everything's going great...right up until I try to play the game. I get to the title screen, the sound is extremely choppy, the mouse barely even responds. Needless to say, I haven't even been able to START a new game let alone play any.

 

My computer's a two-year-old Vista so it's not exactly top of the line anymore, but it usually doesn't have any problems with games or anything. I've looked around the net a bit and have found myself unable to find any kind of solution to my problems.

 

I'd really like to play the game, from what I've seen of it, it looks like a really cool game and I'm almost certain I'll enjoy it...if I can just get it started. Please, if you can, help.

If the sound is choppy *and* mouse barely responds, sounds like the entire game is slowing down - some sort of serious issue (graphical, etc) or the comp specs not being up to scratch.

 

What are your exact specs? And even if the mouse 'barely even responds', can you still get it to try and click New Game oranything? And see if it responds?
