Viconius Posted June 2, 2010 Posted June 2, 2010 I didn't find any full description to which things the difficulty settings (easy, normal, hard) affects to? Apparently it is not possible to change during the gameplay either. More importantly does difficulty settings affect the time for dialog choices and puzzles?
Kasabian Posted June 2, 2010 Posted June 2, 2010 No I have not noticed a difference in minigame or speech time limit. It is a lot easier to die though, makes being sneaky even more important. ~R.I.P. Adam aka "Ild
zkylon Posted June 2, 2010 Posted June 2, 2010 I think it doesn't affect neither of those two. I have a friend playing the game on easy and he's reported that you still get those impossible 12 pin alarm deactivating. And i think the time for dialog choices is built around keeping the conversation flow running so i'm pretty sure it doesn't affect it either. I'm pretty sure it just modifies normal stuff (enemies taking less damage and doing more damage, accuracy up, higher detection rates, less spare ammo, etc.). Recruit and Veteran modes do have some dialog and stat influence, though.
acrh2 Posted June 3, 2010 Posted June 3, 2010 Definitely affects hacking minigames big time. On normal, at level 12, alarms were easy to hack. On hard, at the same level, they are impossible.
