Alright, I bought SW: KOTOR yesterday and I had just reformatted my computer via the windows disc and updated all my appropriate drivers. I have the 32-bit version of Windows Vista. When I try to install the game, as disc 1 is installing, i get the message

"Feature: Star Wars Knight's of the Old Republic II: The Sith Lord_Files

Component: DefaultComponent

File: D:\data2.cab

Error: Data error (redundancy check)"

Prior to reformatting, I had installed the game perfectly fine but couldn't actually play the game, and due to issues with other games, I opted to reformat my computer entirely.

I have already tried changing the compatability of setup.exe and running it as administrator, but I get this message regardless. Does anyone know of any solutions to fix my issue?

Thank you in advance.

Seems like a disc issue to me too, have you tried to clean the disc either with water or a CD cleaner?
