Hey lads.

I am having a strange issue.

I launched the game, selected new game and chose my class type and then it showed a nice intro of a plane blowing up!

Then, this guy begins to speak as a man walks in behind him and it appears as if it's going somewhere as it shimmers!

But!

before it can do anything...I am suddenly back to the main menu??

I don't get any errors or anything?

What on earth is going on!!

I am using windows 7 ultimate 64-bit.

intel core 2 duo Q6600 @3.0 Ghz

MSI P35 Neo-F mainboard

Geforce GTX 280 1Gb

4Gb DDR2 Memory

Auzentech Prelude X-fi 7.1 soundcard plus Yamaha Natural sound AV Receiver RX-v363.

Thanks for any advice.

I have the same exact problem. And for me, I'm using Vista, and my computer can play any other game fine.

Furthermore, I toggled subtitles, but in the short bit of speaking, no subtitles appeared, and the volume was extraordinarily low even though I have Windows volume at 50 and in-game volume at max.
