I reckon a melee fighter would use the same gloves as the lightsaber fighter - ones that boost strength or dexterity if one is a finesse fighter.

I always tend to put Dominator Gloves on Mira. Strength then becomes 15 with some other strength improvers like Corellian Power Suit or Power Battle Armor makes her just as good with melee weapons than with blasters, besides, shes more attractive with melee weapons .
