I've got a 64-bit PC that runs Windows Vista. The game installed successfully, however, when I try to run it, it says:

KOTOR 2 has stopped working. Windows will now close this program and will alert you if a solution is available.

Are there any patches or other fixes for this problem?

Thanks.

Have you tried the "step by step" guide?

It is possible to Kotor2 on 64bit Vista (playing it on a quad core, 8gb ram system), but it can be a bit tricky getting there. The engine wasn't made for anything post Pentium, 32bit. It works mostly fine, except it does crash on the odd occasion when transitioning to and from the bink player. That part really is a killer.
