Hi, my game won't work, and I have installed all of the patches as well as following all of the instructions from people who want to help, but my game still won't work. It started with that the screen suddently froze, and I had to press ctrl+alt+del and shut down the game, and then restart. But the freezings came more and more frequently, and now I can't even get in to the menu before it freezes. Then Microsoft wants me to send an error report, but that never works..

This is my system:

Maybe try disabling one core of your processor, KOTOR2 doesn't support multi-cores.

Yeah, I tried that, and it still won't work. The strange thing is that it worked a year ago, and now it won't work at all:(

If it ran a year ago (presumably on the same system), check the video drivers ... you may have to roll back (as per several other posts here).

KotOR II works fine on my dual core processor computer, not my Vista though, but well, KotOR II doesn't work on Vista at all though.

Even though I run K2 on a dual processor, it does crash and is ****ed up at one point though. But easily fixed when you do things right for me.
