Bao-Dur's droid on peragus?

I don't know if I missed this before because I generally skip most dialogue and cutscenes, but this is the 3rd time I'm going through the game since I bought it again and the first time I noticed this. Right before you enter the central area with those four force fields it showed a cutscene where Bao-Dur's droid was watching me from a distance. Anything behind this? I recall reading the third time you play there are dialogue easter eggs and I got the Atton one, but I wonder if this is one of those?

Why would you skip convo's and cutscenes the first time you play a game? :S

I've already played this and the one before it. I get a craving that happens every few years with certain games, but I still remember almost everything. Thanks for the link btw
