September 10, 200817 yr Author Sorry to bump but would it work if I just took the graphics card out of my desktop and put it into my laptop?
September 10, 200817 yr You will not be able to do that - desktop and laptop parts are not generally interchangeable. Anyways, there is not a known fix that consistently works on XP, although you might try looking for new drivers. "Geez. September 10, 200817 yr Author Damn, I have already tried a new driver, nothing... I am open to any options that might work, anything that might help is useful.
September 10, 200817 yr Well, there is a known fix for Visa and you might try finding a copy that has been edited to work with XP - but I'm not even sure there is such a thing. "Geez. September 10, 200817 yr Tomster, I am running Vista-- I had enormous problems at first with this game. Leaving aside other compatibility issues, there was something wrong in the sound file. That may be what is causing you to crash. The fix was to take the file mss.dll from KOTOR Iand replace the file that came with KOTOR II. So if you have the older game (it was also in the Best of PC boxed set) try swapping out this library file. If you don't have it, someone can email it to you. Hope that helps. Rob I have a Mobile Intel
