cryonicjim
ok, so in order to win a bet, i'm trying to get kotor 2 to run stablely(yes, that probably isn't a real word, whatever) on an asus eee 4g 701 that i've modded. i upped the ram to 1gb, and i'm using the eeectl program to overclock the processor, so far i've been able to clock it sustainably at 1ghz. i've got kotor 2 installed on an external drive, and the disk running in an external cd drive, and its hooked up to an external monitor set to 1024x768 resolution. i can get the game to run, but menus, both ingame, and on the main menu are distorted. I can post pics of what i mean later. but for now, any ideas?
bisurge
Processor speed should be at least 1.6 GB.
cryonicjim
Processor speed should be at least 1.6 GB. That seems to be overkill for running the game on low res, low texture packs, etc. the minimum requirement for the game is 1 ghz. also- clocking the eee's 900mhz celeron to 1.6ghz is highly unstable, and could cause serious overheating damage if left at that speed for too long. also, the unit of measurement in this case would be ghz, not gb.
