I have been trying to get one of these critters off my machine since yesterday, and so far it looks unfruitful, these multi threat trojans are really above and beyond what you usually have to deal with. Not entirely sure my detection is a valid rootkit, but since these things are updated regularly to invalidate removal attempts it's kinda hard to tell.

Anywho, you should definately check the above since most antiviruses, commercial or otherwise are ineffective against them.

If I can't solve this and veryfy that it's gone, i'm going to throw in the towel and do a full reinstall, which will be a bit of a bother because of all the stuff i will have to sort through and backup.
