An important question though is whether the real world could be fun (remember that was what Tycho was attacking) if imported into a computer game or whether the human nack for artistry is important.

 

The question is not whether the real world could be fun, in this case, but whether the real world could be magnificent, immersive, and dazzling to the eyes... And the answer to that is yes.

 

Besides, artistry is not limited to a person with a brush. Photography, for instance, relies more on the understanding of beauty than the creation of it. I see that sort of role as becoming more common in the future - where the human acts as the eye of the artist, while the computer acts as the hand.
