I have recently defeated K1 and have purchased K2. I have downloaded the game and there is more than enough of all the technical stuff that I am not big on, but know enough to tell it's all there.

 

Well, I go to start the game and I get to the main menu. I am able to create my charecter and then push play. It takes me to the load screen then goes blank, turning the game off and bringing me back to the desktop.

 

any help will be greatly appreciated.

Your post makes it sound like you have a downloaded (ie, not purchased) copy of the game. This isn't the place to be asking for advice on such.

If I'm in error and you meant you downloaded the patches, feel free to PM me for further discussion.
