Usually the graphic card software itself has some options that deal with that.

 

Edit: then again, they may only use what the monitor supplies. I just tried on mine and I don't think it altered anything. :thumbsup:

Not sure you can go below the hardware setting ... though I don't know for sure. You could always get a glare filter for your monitor. ;)
