In the "Italian Dinner" quest, you can learn from Christopher Giovanni that he's actually not a member of the Giovanni family, and that his mother cheated on her husband with a man named Michael Avellone. This would make Christopher Giovanni's proper name Christopher Avellone. Intentional? A nod to MCA or a subtle insult to his mother?

Probably both if they are in good terms. :D

It was probably intentional. The odds of them picking those names (without noticing the relation) are pretty slim. Avellone isn't the most common lastname either.
