Meh, it was about as good melee combat as you're going to get out of an FPS.

 

I agree. Or at least I agreed before playing Dark Messiah's demo. The best way to describe the combat in it is that it feels crunchy. :lol:

Better than Kotor?

 

The combat is completley different due to the real time (DMM&M) vs. semi turn-based (kotor) Kotor was just like NWN, baulders gate and Icewind dale series in that you click who to attack and it would do it for you, DMofM&M is more "real" like oblivion, but more accurate. And i agree with the earlier assesment that Jade Empire has the best combat system for a console... cant wait for #2 to come out on 360
