Dark_Raven Posted October 27, 2006 Posted October 27, 2006 I know. That's why it amused me. In a real world social setting, it would be called a gaffe. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> A laugh? Hades was the life of the party. RIP You'll be missed.
Pidesco Posted October 27, 2006 Author Posted October 27, 2006 A faux pas. "My hovercraft is full of eels!" - Hungarian tourist I am Dan Quayle of the Romans. I want to tattoo a map of the Netherlands on my nether lands. Heja Sverige!! Everyone should cuffawkle more. The wrench is your friend.
Dark_Raven Posted October 27, 2006 Posted October 27, 2006 But which half? Hades was the life of the party. RIP You'll be missed.
letsryde23 Posted October 27, 2006 Posted October 27, 2006 Meh, it was about as good melee combat as you're going to get out of an FPS. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I agree. Or at least I agreed before playing Dark Messiah's demo. The best way to describe the combat in it is that it feels crunchy. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Better than Kotor? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> The combat is completley different due to the real time (DMM&M) vs. semi turn-based (kotor) Kotor was just like NWN, baulders gate and Icewind dale series in that you click who to attack and it would do it for you, DMofM&M is more "real" like oblivion, but more accurate. And i agree with the earlier assesment that Jade Empire has the best combat system for a console... cant wait for #2 to come out on 360
