after leaving the turbo lift from dormatories and you run into the assassination droid, sometimes he wont go into self destruct mode and wont die... he remains frozen at a low ammount of HP and wont die wont attack nothing, i find that it mostly happens if you use "stun droid" force power.

 

if this happens i just reload the game and try it again sometimes its glitched sometimes not.

Just save your game before your PC and Kreia encounter Atton together then.

Pay attention to the top of the HKs head. When he is shaking and says "losing power master" he will silently count down his self destruct (numbers appear above his head). If you rush him he blows up immedietely.

Just wait, it takes a little while for him to count down.

And stay out of range when droid blows up to avoid taking damage.

Just give him an ass kicking, shoot the mines that always helps give him some damage
