June 29, 200619 yr Presentation is still an important part of a story. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Presentation is part of the telling of the story. HL tells the same story as Doom and many other FPS, but presents itself much better. HL stands out because of it's then new and exciting scripted sequences, which added more life than we were used to in shooters.
June 29, 200619 yr Exactly. The best story in the world means **** if it's told poorly. When people refer to the "quality" of the story, I figure the presentation of said story is included in it. Especially if you want to take abstractions of the story. Edited June 29, 200619 yr by alanschu
