March 8, 200619 yr Picked up the PC version San Andreas not too long ago, enjoying CJ's endeavours very much. One problem though, I can't bloody fly. I've just purchased the desert airfield and I'm having a lot of trouble progressing. So if anyone has any advice (beyond "burn your keyboard...buy a controller") I'd be very appreciative. I'm not above outright cheating either, I'm the lowest of the low.
March 8, 200619 yr Left hand on the WASD keys, right hand on the arrow keys. Control speed with left hand, control up/down left/right with right hand. Remember to fold up your landing gear right after take off with the 2-key. Oh, and when you want to manouvre the plane on the ground, steer it left and right with the Q and E keys instead, otherwise you tip the plane. March 8, 200619 yr Standerd controls are poor for flying. My flying keys: Up:S Down:W Gas: Up Brake: Down Steering: Left and Right Gear up/down: Numpad 0 Piece of cake. For heli's Q: Up A: Down Steering: Numpad keys 8, 4, 6 and 2 (5 in VC, but SA doesn't take 5 unless you install "Bye bye coffee patch" , and I am not planning on doing that )

March 8, 200619 yr Always find it odd so many people have trouble flying with PC controls. The amount of times asked for help during "Flight School" or VC's "Demolition man" is so amazingly high for such easy assignments... I had more trouble with all the other schools than with this one...
