Ive owned Kotor 2 since it came out, and just recently it has started freezing up when I try and start a new game. All my old saves work fine though. Lucasarts support offered absolutely no help.

Do a virus scan first off. Viruses love to get in .exe files. Check what mods you have, if any, for sometimes you might have a mod that places the game a little off kilter. Worse come to worse, backup your save game files and do a fresh install.
