The world has moved on though.
Meshugger Posted November 21, 2005 Posted November 21, 2005 I recently finished the game as well, it's a true gem in the history of gaming. Too bad there's no more support for Planescape, so there will be no more games set in Planescape, let alone a sequel to Torment. Darque Posted November 21, 2005 Posted November 21, 2005 I don't really think you could have a "true sequel" to torment though.
Meshugger Posted November 21, 2005 Posted November 21, 2005 (edited) I don't really think you could have a "true sequel" to torment though. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Nah, that would certainly not work. But i would mind a another game set in the Planescape universe, with a small cameo of the nameless one, slaughtering Baatetzus in the lower planes Edited November 21, 2005 by Meshugger "Some men see things as they are and say why?""I dream things that never were and say why not?"- George Bernard Shaw"Hope in reality is the worst of all evils because it prolongs the torments of man."- Friedrich Nietzsche "The amount of energy necessary to refute bull**** is an order of magnitude bigger than to produce it." - Some guy
Darque Posted November 21, 2005 Posted November 21, 2005 Oh, I can agree with that I'd love another game in the Planescape setting... it and Dark Sun are my two most favorite DnD settings
sdlacero Posted November 21, 2005 Author Posted November 21, 2005 it wouldn't be hard to get around things that happened in torment cause there are supposedly thousands of planes and etc...
Spider Posted November 22, 2005 Posted November 22, 2005 it wouldn't be hard to get around things that happened in torment cause there are supposedly thousands of planes and etc... <{POST_SNAPBACK}> The problem isn't that, the problem is that Wizards of the Coast have discontinued the Planescape franchise and don't want anyone to use it anymore.
Darque Posted November 22, 2005 Posted November 22, 2005 Ayup One more reason why I've boycotted (sp) WotC. Ebberon is neat, but it's no Dark Sun or Planescape.
