Luke77
Pentium 4 1.60 GHZ (Note: when I scaned hardware on KOTOR II, I got "warning", NOT "passed" That could be the problem. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> It says "Warning" instead of "Passed" ONLY because the 1.6GHz CPU is meeting only the minimum requirements of KotOR2 (CPU frequency >= 1.4GHz) , not also the recommended ones (CPU frequency >= 1.8GHz, if I remember correctly)! But if you don't have other problems with your CPU (like random crashes in other programs or in Windows), your CPU is OK, it is not overheating, so it should run the game normally. I play KotOR2 with a new PC, but I have played KotOR1, which has the exactly same requirements for CPU like KotOR2, with AMD AthlonXP 1600+ CPU and it had runned fine. Your problems can have multiple causes, so you must post your full system specs (the swinfo.txt file) so I can try to help you!

warstrekkid
Copied Straight of out the readme. -------------------- Intermittent Crashes -------------------- The game may freeze or crash to a blank screen if you play in one level for extended periods of time. This was typically seen when playing the game between thirty and forty minutes without transitioning to a new level or movie. We recommend that you save the game often to avoid losing progress if you encounter this issue. If this occurs, we recommend that you defragment your hard drive and set your Page file settings to allow Windows to manage your virtual memory. Please consult the Performance section of the troubleshooting guide for more information. Disappointing to know it got released with problems like this, eh?
