Petay
Hey all, Ok so i am posting this thread because i have been getting a very annoying and frustrating error from my computer recently, and i hope someone here will know how to fix it . Right, so recently, after upgrading my video card and RAM, ive noticed not only that Norton Anti-virus doesn't seem to want to virus-scan things, but also that my PC has got itself an annoying habit of turning itself off then back on again straightaway . Whenever it reboots itself, it comes up with a message on the windows help page; saying "This error has been caused by a device driver" If anyone can help, it will be much appreciated

Petay
I see. I will think about that, but will that fix my so called "device driver" problem?
Bokishi
No, the the "device driver" problem is a conflict, make sure you removed the old drivers before putting in the new ones. This is espicially a problem when switching from ATI to Nvidia or vice versa. Edited October 16, 2005 by Bokishi
