this is a really strange bug/glitch/crash....i cant equip m.heavy armor. When i try to put the armor on someone the game freezes and then crashes. It doesnt matter who i try to put it on (PC/NPC). I can modify the armor, but i cant use it! crap. Anyone else had this problem?

I *think* remember experiencing something like this except it was a lightsaber - I think I reloaded an earlier save without the item, did something else (like get other items first) then went back and got that item again.

I`ve experienced this problem every time i have played kotor. Sometimes i get the armor from the very beginning using cheats. This time i got it from the fourth planet. Still it remains...

It will be doing a feat/stat check to see if the character can wear the armour.

Have you cheated to add feats / increase stats / etc ?

I've never had the problem.

I've had this problem with a few different suits of armor.
I just ignored it at first but now it's been the third time.
I'm not sure I think it's some kind of corruption with the item folders.
if you use mods it could be part of the reason.
Wish I could help you but I'm in the same boat.
