I've read about the prestige classes, and I wanted to ask if the Jedi Master is so tough

I mean how is it ? Does he uses the lightsaber or just force power's, does he train party members to be jedi more easy, is he weak in melee fighting. Is it worth it to play again and become a Jadi Master ?
