what's wrong with my comp? Sometimes I get such low frame rate that I want to cry!

I just got a 1 Gig memory but I can't see any change! >_<

help me I want to play the game like I'm supposed to! :p

Sometimes I'm getting framerate like in 30s but sometimes in like 6. Like in the Onderoon palace :(

I have this problem with KOTOR 1 too but on BioWare forum people seem to be sick of the performance issues threads..

you are nice here right? :)

your system seems fine. your processor is a little on the slow side but with that vid card you shouldn't be having problems. you may need to lower anti-aliasing as that is the biggest performance hit.

well... kotor2 doesn't like ati that much. try adding DisableVertexBufferObjects=1 under graphics options in the swkotor2.ini. I can't remember if there should be spaces between those words or not. :thumbsup:

I'm having the same problem, I have a A64 3500+, 1 gig RAM, >70 gigs of free space in the partition, GeForce 6800 GT 256 MB. What's very odd is that no matter what I set my graphics to the frame rate appears to stay exactly the same. Once I get to the surface of Telos the game becomes very choppy and when I kill certain things(like droids with lots of effects on death)the game gets choppy.

Original version or patched version gives the same results. Also I do have the newest drivers for everything.

DisableVertexBufferObjects=1

it's there. I wanted to add it yesterday but I found that it was there by itself.

Yaos, annoying isn't it? Same thing with FarCry. My friend has a worse comp than me but his game worked great. Mine was choppy.
