April 18, 200520 yr Has anyone else experienced this? I last played my game 2 nights ago... Decided to patch it last night... Patched was successful... Tried playing game... And Application crashes... So I thought this was a good opportunity to update my graphics card and bios... Did it and game still will not load after patching... Submitted a report to lucasarts.com with a dxdiag.txt report... And they mentioned it will take 48 hours to respond... First time I have ever patched a working game to have it not work after the patch...
April 18, 200520 yr Yeah I have the same problem. Well not that it was working correctly before, but now it crashes out straight away.
April 20, 200520 yr Crash probs are not all major...I got the worst of it..after patching, my com rebooted and can't go to windows..I had to reinstall winxp again!!! Great job Obsidian!!! I suppose since they already got my 50 bucks in their pockets..they're just gonna waste it on another great franchise: NWN2...sheesh, so-called veterans of RPGs???
April 20, 200520 yr I highly doubt that the patch managed to knock out windows...... You probably had some dodgy drivers somewhere else that triggered it.
