I simply believe that everyone has right to do with his life whatever he wants as long as he doesn't hurt someone else. And christians have long history of persecution, inqusition and forceful propaganda. Instead of improving themselves they were slaughtering those who weren't eager enough to tapp into their fanaticism. This apply to catholics and protestants as well (who burned much more "witches" than catholics did)

Even if it's true (I have to see some scientific report about it, cause I've never heard anything like that as far as I can remember), it means very little. First of all because we don't utilize our entire brain, and second because women and men utilize it in different ways.

I think that men tend to have larger brains than women.

 

In the 19th. century, 'scientists' used this to prove that men are superior to women and should have control over them.

 

Then they discovered that Africans have larger brains than Europeans, and you can guess how quickly that theory got abandoned.

I can only find danish articles about it .. but there have been a big discussion here in the past few weeks/months .. because a very famous "brain" proffesor discovered that male brains have about 2 million more brain cells, but they don't seem to serve any particular use!

Does it matter anyway? Even assuming women are smarter than men, the real question here is; are they smart enough? Just because I'm doing stupid things doesn't mean a smarter person wouldn't do stupid things as well.

well again .. that depends .. more effecient at what? Men are better at judging distance and calculating! (and all things hunting related) .. women are better at socialising and emotinal involved problems (controlling a group) ..

 

we are still carrying our stone-age brains .. and since humans evovled into that period and haven't really evovled since, those problems that were present then, are what we are made for!
