Icewind Dale was ok, I got to a certain point in the game but then dropped it and went no further, I never looked back either, not sure why, I had a good grasp on everything. I would'nt exactly call it hack and slash, it is more evolved then Diablo afterall, and the problem with alot of RPGs is that you don't get enough combat. I gotta say though, I crawled through some of IWD's dungeons and I came out of there a hardass, I think my party literally spent months, or so the in-game clock showed, away from town trying to get to the bottom of that insanely huge dungeon in some place far far away. You did get a real feeling of "we, band of brothers" with the rest of your team wwhen you got out of there though, kinda like the spirit you get in Call of Duty.

I guess it was pretty good, I should run it again and see.
