Should I use Geforce 4 (AGP) or Radeon 9250 (PCI)

I know neither of these cards is top of the range but for the moment they are the best I have, my pocket just won't stretch to a better one.

I have a 2.4ghz intel celeron processor and 768mb of Ram and am running Windows XP with service pack one.

Thanks for your opinions.

What exactly is your top range for buying power.

You might want to head here: www.tigerdirect.com or www.newegg.com

These two places might have lower prices that will allow you to get a better card, but of those two I would pick NVidia every single time.

Thanks for the reply.

I should have added that I'm in England so the cost of importing the cards would likely bump the price up beyond my pocket.

To be honest I am luckey if I have

Save up then. You should save up for a Geforce 6600. They are around $150 to S200, so 100 to 150 pounds. Both cards are antiquish. In any case I would go for the GeFOrce 4. ATI cards are technically better and faster but the Nvidia cards are more comaptible with games.

I am going to try getting a ATI radeon 9800 pro 128meg card for about

AGP over PCI anyday. My next card will be an Nvidia, not because ATi sucks, but it seems that most newer games work better on an Nvidia card.

-My opinion

Had a look on ebay and i seen some ati 9600 pro cards going between
