I have an AMD 2.7 ghz cpu, 512 ram, ATI 9200 card with catalyst 5.3, 60 gb hd.

 

I can not leave telos. After i am about to leave the academy and the handmaiden have their conversation the thing starts loading and i get a black screen.

 

Any ideas?

Disable moives and try it again.

How do i disable the movies?

In the swkotor2.ini change Disable Movies=0 to Disable Movies=1, or just select disable movies in the config program.

I still get the black screen, anything else i could so?

Will it be possible for me to start the game from scratch so that this thing wouldnt show up?

It's possible, but not certain. You could also disable sound in the config program as well.

Can't help you with the ATI drivers... (If they're the latest, try an older set). What soundcard are you running. They seem to be the root of all evil as far as this game is concerned.

Its a soundblaster 5.1 Live or something like that. Its pretty new.
