I posted to a topic (about catalyst ATI drivers) which had been moved from KoToR PC Troubleshooting to the KoTor General Forum.

I noticed that the name of the last poster did not change nor did the post promote in the new forum.

So it looks like moving a topic will cause it to just fade away no matter how many new posts it receives.

Which won't be so many since it will just slide more and more down the list and out of sight. :p

Doesn't seem right somehow. :-"

Are you sure? I just tried a test post and it seems fine to me. I will try the thread you are speaking about in particular.

Update: I have now tried it on two redirects and the thread is promoted. Could you try a test post of your own and confirm you can replicate the problem?

Thanks for your attention.

The thread is: "Cautionary Statement: Latest Catalyst drivers, No go with TSL".

Shows in KoToR General Discussion.

I posted a test.

I didn't see your post.

Same situation.

On my screen it still stayed where it was (on page 2) and the listing for the last poster didn't change either (appears to be the last poster before the thread was moved).
