Can anyone help? My game crashes every time I have watched any movie. The screen goes blank and responds only to alt+ctrl+del command. Has anyone else had this problem? If you have, please let me know how you fixed it.

I can suggest two things first.

 

1.) Make sure you have the latest video and sound card drivers. Go download them if you must.

 

2.) Try disabling sound by running swconfig.exe and see if movies will play then.

 

 

If neither of those fixes your problem, run swconfig.exe, click 'Test Hardware', then save the results and post here your swinfo.txt file.

hmmm i've encountered the same prob ... Game hangs instead changing resolution from movies 640x480 to 3d game opengl enviroment ... Funny thing is that the same thing happened with Kotor1 - but only form time to time .... In the meantime i've made full upgrade of my machine except of graphic card and monitor.... It is Radeon 9700 and Nokia monitor.... The cause should be somewhere

i've found solution - it was old atiogllxx.dll form catalyst 3.7 - i copy it to game's directory as i did playing kotor1. And it was the cause
