I made the mistake of buying this game yesterday, can anyone tell me how to maybe cut down on the 10 minute load screens and menus, i timed it twice, took me 6 minutes 38 seconds on average to load the main menu of the game after launching it, every time i try and load the 1 save game i managed to make, it takes roughly the same. My computer exceeds the recomended system requirements in all areas, i have a Radeon 9800 pro 128mb card, 512 ram on a 1.7 p4, I do seem to remember the original KOTOR giving me almost the exact same bug if i am not mistaken, i just cannot remember at all how to fix this, checked the bioware site but couldnt find the way to fix this.

So let me get this straight...you're meaning by load screen as the screen fading out then opening in a different location...Say for instance going from the inside of the Ebon Hawk to the outside...that change is taking 10 mins??? That's not game issues...that's issues with your PC. Is your hard drive full, for that matter have you defragged it recently?
