The list of things to do is long, so check a walkthrough. You can also talk to this one guy in the Cantina and pay him to get them to contact you.
February 19, 200520 yr I found that by traveling around in the airspeeder the cutscene wouldnt play. What you have to do is walk around for a bit the scene triggered for me after going to the refugee sector (just before the screen changed). After the slavers attack the ship and you leave again a new scene should play within a minute or two. I have to agree with Volourn. Bioware is pretty much dead now.
