Influance broken

This is for the handmaiden and for visas. I do deeds that I know should affect them one way or another they comment on it but no message shows up to indicate if the influance was counted. So is this working or not?

 

edit: I think I can now answere my own question after looking at Dan Simpson's influance guide there are now no more influance points for the handmaiden and she still wont talk to me about atris. same with visas and I havnt even got her "gift"
