On Telos after recieving the quest to meet up with the arms dealers from the purple lady in the cantina, and after visiting the medical center and being called by them I go to visit the apartments. They tell me to come alone so I move into the next area and switch to solo mode.

 

When I approach the door they tell me to come alone and leave my party members behind, but i've already done that. Is this a bug? Have I overlooked something? I've tried everything I can think of to get them to let me in, but no dice. <_<

Solo mode will not work. You have to go to the party selection screen and remove everyone from your party. You'll know that you succeeded when you see only your pc on the screen. After that, you can complete the quest.
