After getting the droid engineers credentials for the Czerka Mainframe mission I head to the Czerka office, but when I walk through the door I get dumped back to the desktop, no error message and nothing in the event log. So I do a few more missions with no problem, going back and forth between areas loads of times. I come back to the Czerka office and it crashes again.

So I'm stuck with this game stopping bug and I can

I was sure you have an Ati card when I saw your thread. It seems there will be no way to fix this but having an nVIDIA (stupid solution) or waiting for the must come patch.

I have a similar problem at the same point in the game. When ever i try to enter the czerka offices on telos the game crashes, only i get a the error sending box.

Unlike you i have a geforce 4 card so it is not an ATI thing.

damn i should've gotten a 6600gt when i had the chance

This is definately not a 'pure' Ati problem... I have a 9800 Pro (Catalyst 4.11) and haven't encountered a single problem in the entire game yet....

I've tried so many different drivers over the weekend just to get this game to work its ridiculous, its going back to the shop today to be traded for a game that works.
