How do you get through the Secuity Door on the slicer side of the Palace. I tried

I have not tried Boa Dur. But, you can't smash, can he use his arm?

There are two paths branching out:

 

One to Kiph and the other goes to the left. The path to the right, I think, leads to Kiph and Captain Riken (LS). Go back to the beginning and take a left.

 

Sorry if this didn't help; I had a hard time understanding the question.

i couldn't get that one open either...all i did was have bao dor override the terminal so it wouldn't blow up, but i was playing DS...don't know if that had much of an affect cuz i killed kiph. hey but at least the otherside had good stuff in it...so far everytime i've gotten a silver crystal from the metal cylinder everytime i played through.
