I went and killed that droid in one of the pylon's and found a datapad on his chewed off arm and the quest completed. Did his own droid do it? Where were the frequencies coming from?

Reveal hidden contents Go-to/goto sent a command to the droid to kill the bith scientist so the bith scientist wouldn't make know the frequency at which the go-to intelligence system operates at
