June 19, 200421 yr Being Canadian myself, I have met a few Newfoundlanders. They have a distinct accent but I am not sure it's like that. In my opinion, in the written form, trying to come across as sort of accent or style never comes across well and in some cases people may just think you are not that bright as opposed to doing it on purpose.
