Patch 0.5.1 Has Been Released

Patch 0.5.1 is now available on Steam, Xbox Series S|X, Xbox PC, and PS5. Below you will find the latest fixes in the patch.

General Changes:

• Buff buggy perception so they can join fights easier with the Player/Teen

• Added Molar Upgrades for Mega Milk Molars, Milk Molars, and Moldy Milk Molars

Bug Fixes:

• Fixed an issue where the Genuine Gathering Ant mutation would increase the drop rate of the Everlasting Hogstopper trinket when chopping Billy Hogs with Ant Buggies.

• Fixed an issue where it was impossible to open the hatch to The Abyss in Creative mode. The Diving Suit is no longer required to open the hatch in Creative mode.

• Fixed an issue where items could disappear when putting them in a Buggy’s inventory using a mouse.

• Fixed an issue where the Halloween background and event information were missing from the Main Menu.

• Fixed an issue where enhancing fist weapons with elemental damage removed their original damage type.

• Fixed a bug where destroying a nest could permanently disable the Buggy.

• Fixed an issue with missing animation for the Client when using the Omni-Tool with the upgrade from the Glitter Bar.

• Fixed an issue where the floor in the Diving Station played water footsteps sound effects.

• Fixed an issue where it was impossible to fill the Ladybug Buggy’s Reservoir with Pond Water.

• Fixed a bug where the Bubble Diffuser could provide an infinite supply of air after being destroyed.

• Fixed an issue where the molar icon was stretched on the Molar Scanner.

• Fixed a bug where the Green Shield Bug preview did not match the in-game version.

• Infused Ooze has been removed from the game, and the Tier 4 Omni-Axe recipe has been changed to reflect that.

• Fixed an issue where the Swap to Custom Game option displayed the wrong description.

• Fixed a bug where a trinket’s name was misspelled.

• Fixed an issue where all Photo Mode poses related to Teens caused the Teens’ legs to appear misaligned.

• Fixed an issue where the Toe Biter Buggy did not deal damage with its Sweep ability when used by the Buggy on its own.

• Fixed an issue where the Taxidermy and Small Game Hunter Ranger Challenges would not complete when building Mounted Trophies and Stuffed Bugs for Roby, Pond Jockey, and Toe Biter.

• Fixed a bug where the map did not align with the Abyss area.

• Fixed an issue where the Player was unable to interact with the PTS leading to the Abyss after pressing E twice.

• Fixed a bug where the Toe Biter head did not unlock the appropriate structures.

• Fixed an issue with the Omni-Tool that allowed it to gather resources faster by repeatedly releasing and pressing the Chop button.

• Fixed a bug where Buggy summoning restrictions hindered gameplay.

• Expanded the available tiers of upgrades obtainable through Milk Molars and Moldy Milk Molars.

• Fixed a bug where the Ranger Outpost: Pergola unlocked at the wrong location on the map.

• Fixed an issue where the Koi Fish would occasionally charge indefinitely.

• Fixed an issue where swimming Toe Biters would lose aggro when the Player was hiding behind something.

• Fixed an issue where PS5 players could not see Steam players’ online status.

• Fixed a bug where quest markers were not shown during the MIX.R Event.

• Fixed a bug where modified creature health displayed incorrectly for the client.

• Fixed a bug where the Custom Sign would reset after being read.

• Fixed a bug where some parts of the Founder’s Pack remained active after it was refunded.

• Fixed an issue where the Omni-Clipper could be used to damage other Players.

• Fixed an issue where the “Find a way beyond the Garden wall” quest step did not update when entering the Garden from the Bridge area.

• Fixed a bug where creatures prioritized attacking buildings instead of the MIX.R.

• Fixed a bug where the MIX.R Timed Rounds in the Playgrounds showed incorrect times for clients.

• Fixed a bug where gear perks could not be previewed at the workbench.

• Fixed an issue where the client could not see the laser orb from the laser cannon.

• Fixed an issue where Seasonal UI elements were visible on the MAP UI.

• Fixed an issue where Players were unable to drink from the Pond.

• Fixed a bug where the notification about removing the Diving Suit would appear repeatedly after death.

• Fixed an issue where blocked players’ shared Playgrounds maps were still visible in the My Downloads tab.

• Fixed an issue where the creature kill counter would count kills twice.

• Fixed a bug where the full settings in the MIX.R creature spawner menu were inaccessible.

• Fixed an issue where, after dying by burning and being revived, the Character would freeze after using a Lingonberry Bandage.

• Fixed an issue where Shared Worlds were still accessible with crossplay disabled on PS5.

• Fixed an issue where the north Greenhouse Vent would be closed and unable to be opened again on saves from earlier versions.

• Fixed an issue where the "End on a Sour Note" Challenge would not count as completed if the Garden Boss died after the Player due to Damage Over Time.

• Fixed a bug where the stair support was inconsistent.

• Fixed a bug where Golden Cards were not visible via PEEP.R.

• Fixed an issue where the selected Founder’s Pack DLC skin would stay enabled after disabling or refunding the DLC.

• Fixed a bug where changing the Interface Language settings also changed the Display Settings.
