Thursday at 01:56 PM3 days Feedback to the Grounded 2 Developers and CommunityI’d like to express my disappointment with the latest Grounded 2 update, particularly with the changes affecting ants. Before the update, the ant had an interesting and useful role thanks to the mutation that allowed players to obtain additional insect parts. It gave the ant its own unique purpose and made choosing it feel worthwhile. However, after the latest update, this mechanic seems to be working much worse. The mutation that is supposed to provide additional insect parts now triggers inconsistently, and sometimes it doesn’t seem to work at all.As a result, the ant has once again become almost useless, and one of the main reasons to choose an ant has effectively disappeared.I really hope the developers can take a closer look at this issue and either fix the mutation or reconsider its balance. At the moment, it feels like the mechanic hasn’t simply been nerfed — it has lost most of its purpose.I hope this doesn’t go unnoticed. I think many players would agree that ants deserve their own meaningful role instead of going back to being a choice with very little benefit. Please fix the mutation and give ants back their usefulness. 🙏
5 hours ago5 hr I agree with this 100%. I get that the major issue they had was loot luck allowing us to easily get trinkets. Fine, ok but why are we being punished on everything else to the point that the ability does not work at all. Id say its the least useful mutation in the game if it was actually useful at all post patch. My suggestions - Tier 1: A 50% chance to drop 1 extra resource when cutting. Tiet 2: 100% chance to get an extra resource when cutting (example: instead of 3 mushroom chunks now, now you get 4Tier 3: Loot luck goes up by 25% when picking up bug parts. This is not an insane boost. How about even 10% or 5%? If need be have (does not apply to trinkets) it just gives us more bug parts.
