Grounded 2 Feels smaller due to lack of Terrain Variation

Featured Replies

Grounded 2 really upgaded its mechanics game but seems like it took a big step backward in enviromental design

The lower yard of G1 featured

  • Koi Pond

  • The Swamps

  • The Berry Tree

  • The Gas Zone

  • The Sandbox

  • The Garbage Area

But in Grounded 2 - 80% of the yard is essentially the same. Grass and Dry grass patches with little pools with gnats

The garbage area is just one trash can

With a tiny dry patch in center

The Berry bush is this comically sad tiny berry trees

The Podium is just 2 empty shelves with gum. While the bee Box was this massive maze constructed

The ice ZOne just looks like the same standard yard but with a ice shader on it. No where near as exotic as the gas zone.

I really love Grounded 2 and hope you guys consider giving the map a massive refresh because right now it is very sad state of how repetitive the map design is with POIs being an afterthought
