Loading a save game respawns incorrectly

Hello,

I am having an issue with the game on PS5(ps5 version).

The game crashed at some point and despite having a save file, the location of the respawn is incorrect. I also lost all weapons with upgrades & all, food, canteens, armor, swimming gear...

Funny enough, the storages that I have still hold my old items so I guess the issue is about how the character is being loaded.

I tried:

• switching characters

• loading different saves from various stages - i am being respawn to the same weird location (btw it is next to a wall, across the pond).

• tried repairing the game(backpack retrieval) but my items are not there

• tried uninstalling/reinstalling

• also disabled internet on the console and tried loading from the physical location(not sure where it normally loads from)

• linking the game to my Microsoft account, enabling cross-play

I am "only" ~35 hours into the game so I can't say I lost much but still, I would prefer finding a solution should this happen again.

If anyone has some ideas, please shoot.
