Hey y'all. Been a fan since grounded 1, an absolute amazing game!

I'm not sure if it has been suggested but what if when building structures like the jerky rack for example, there were alternative bug parts to use. So instead of bombardier parts we could use rust beetle parts. If something requires red ant parts we could use black ant parts that would also alter the colour of the structure built.

There are a couple threads that have the topic, but there’s no harm in voicing it again. One of the suggestions I saw on another thread that I liked was that the alternative parts could change the color scheme or the actual design. That’s more work for the developers, but it would be nice to be able to make our bases a bit more interesting. Most bases end up with dew collectors, workbenches, smithing stations, etc., and currently all of those only have one look. There’s nothing inherently wrong with that, but it would be fun to varied up. I’m OK with having to unlock the extra versions of it and in someways I’d prefer that. Maybe some random blueprints throughout the yard to give us more to hunt down.
