Combat ending before all enemies are dead

Featured Replies

I was fighting the wolves accosting Foelmar in Magran's Fork when combat ended right after I killed the first wolf. This left the second wolf standing right next to Eder, all red and angry, but not in combat. I could walk around without initiating combat as long as I was in view of the wolf. Once the wolf was out of view (in the fog of war), as I came back into his view the game paused (I have auto-pause on enemy enabled), but combat didn't start.

I then set Eder to attack the wolf, and he did a lot of damage (40?). Combat still didn't start. In fact, Eder was now auto-attacking as if TB mode had been turned off, but it was still enabled in the Difficulty menu. After hitting like 6 times and doing hundreds of damage, the wolf finally died. Poor puppy.
